While it may be true that I had an "incident" with the pee bottle in the vestibule of the tent, it was a teeny, tiny incident, and only someone like J. would bring it up. Also, it was freezing cold and no one would give me a light, so how was I supposed to know the lid was still on it?
We walked ten kilometers the day before the final ascent, had dinner, tried to get warm in our sleeping bags in our tent for a few hours, then woke up at 10:30 PM. We started at midnight sharp, and made it to the top 8 1/2 hours later. Then we went back down, and hiked another four miles to sleep at 12,000 ft. Not a bad days work.
From the top of Kilimanjaro. Amber and I got there a few minutes in front of Jill. Apparently, the Red Bull did not give her wings, and instead, slowed her down. Sorry about the camerawork, I wasn't doing my best thinking.

V. here... This last shot does look like the moon. (For me, Kilimanjaro and the moon ARE pretty much in the same category). WOW, YOU FOLKS!!!! are you really related to me? That getting up at 10:30 on the last day and all that hiking sounds exhausting!!!!!!!!!!!Terrific assult!v.
that is amazing! Congratulations! We loved all the videos! Thanks for posting.
sweet clips, kaka. well, i guess i can't blame you for pointing out that i got to the summit last, since i did point out your pee bottle incident on camera. hahahaha, that's worth it. but i will also say that the reason i got there last is because i got to Stella's point first, and i hung out waiting for you guys until i was loopy. also, we are all studs. also, i dumped out the red bull and filled it with water from emmanual's pack. nasty.
good footage of the baboons. that's national geographic right there. also, your voice sounds horrible in the summit clip. that really adds an extra something.

i ditto everything jill said, except "kili 09"
but i think your incident is grody. and your voice does sound hard core. and you really did tell jill to touch the sign approximately four thousand times.
good job.
WOW! I have some adventurous cousins! Amazing experience I'll bet!
