This is a much nicer article than the one that came out about a week ago from Australia, in which some drunken tribesmen from one village in Papua New Guinea shot some of their neighbors from another village. The company had no comment on the matter, other than to say that they were sure that it had nothing to with all of the money going to the villages that sat on the pipeline right of ways.

The Bus Route 6 carrying Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN) employees on the Lagos Highway took a surprise turn when a pregnant woman crossing the road went into labor.
Jaye Babalola, MPN reprographic/mail services coordinator, noticed that the woman was ready to deliver a baby. Babalola called her colleagues into action and they quickly converted the road into an emergency delivery room.
“We all got off the bus and rushed to the woman,” recalled Samuel Ndubuisi, MPN SHE/OIMS coordinator. “A nurse converted two new cellophane bags into hand-gloves, and I used the first aid box on our bus.”
Several people walking by offered their help and blocked off the street from oncoming traffic. Within minutes, the baby was born. Both the mother and baby were then transported to a nearby hospital.
Ndubuisi believes the outcome was a success because the MPN employees had been taught emergency preparedness and response strategies.
“ExxonMobil’s training in emergency preparedness helped ensure a safe delivery effort,” he said. “I feel so proud to be part of a Corporation that emphasizes emergency preparedness, as we were able to do a quick situational risk analysis and immediately jump into action.”
Riders on the Bus Route 6 paid a courtesy visit to the family a few days after the delivery. The mother and her newborn daughter, named Abiona, were in good health.
MPN management has recognized the humanitarian gesture of the team by expressing appreciation for their good conduct in performing under difficult conditions.

Books I want to Read but haven't because they cost money and I don't have any.
1.) "Inheritance" by Christopher Paolini. We actually have this book, but I have always been scared to read it because it has 849 pages in it. I finally decided to read it though. I started 3 days ago and am on page 252.
2.) "The Mark of Athena" by Rick Riordan. Even if I had money I wouldn't be able to read this because it doesn't come out until October 2.
3.) "Matched" by Ally Condie. It is the first book in a trilogy about a utopia. In the book the main character Cassia has just reached the age where she will be told who to marry. When her match is also her best friend she is thrilled. Even though she already knows everything about her match she is still given a microchip that has all the information about her match that she needs to know. When she opens the microchip two people show up, her best friend and her neighbor.
4.) "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak is set during world war two and is narrated by death. And I don't know much else because I haven't read the book yet.
